Audio to Text
Turn recordings into a transcript. Upload and transcription continue in Genooi.
Ready for transcription
Audio recordings, not video downloads
Audio transcription recognizes spoken words in a recording. Use MP3, M4A, WAV, or OGG sources such as interviews, lectures, or podcasts. Downloading an audio track is a separate operation and does not create a transcript.
An account-based transcription workflow
The file picker checks the extension and reported media type locally. No recording is uploaded to MoiMobi. Genooi handles upload, language selection, account limits, and any transcription quote after you sign in.
Review before relying on the transcript
Speech quality, background noise, overlapping voices, and language affect the output. Check names and important passages against the recording. Transcript and subtitle exports depend on the actual result available in Genooi.
Prepare an audio recording for transcription
- Export an actual audio file from your recorder or editor, then select it here. MP3, M4A, WAV and OGG are accepted by the local format check. Listen to a sample first: speech must be audible, and a music-only track will not provide a spoken transcript.
- Click Submit to view the account requirement. Upload transcription has no anonymous guest allowance in this workflow. Continue to the corresponding Genooi tool in a new window, sign in and select the recording again; this page does not upload it or carry a session through the link.
- In Genooi, review the offered source-language settings, limits and any processing quote before confirming. Compare the resulting text with the recording, especially names, numbers and overlapping speech. Use only the transcript or subtitle exports actually available for that result.
A recording is not a finished set of notes
Interviews, podcast conversations and recorded lessons are useful transcription sources. The transcript represents spoken wording; turning it into a summary or action list is a separate editorial step. Keep uncertain passages marked rather than filling gaps with plausible words.
Avoid unnecessary audio conversion
A larger WAV does not repair a low-quality MP3, and changing an extension does not convert a file. Retain the best original recording instead of repeatedly encoding it. The picker checks a filename and reported media type, not full decoding compatibility. Final processing checks take place after upload in Genooi.
Audio to Text FAQs
How do I turn an audio recording into a written transcript?
Choose a non-empty MP3, M4A, WAV, or OGG file for a local format check, then continue to Audio to Text in Genooi. After sign-in, select the recording there and review the available transcription options before processing.
Can I transcribe audio anonymously on MoiMobi?
No audio speech recognition runs on this page. The local selector does not upload files, and the handoff opens Genooi without an account token or recording attached. Transcription requires a Genooi account; the five daily guest downloads are not a transcription allowance.
What affects the accuracy of an audio transcript?
Clear speech, limited background noise, and speakers taking turns make a recording easier to transcribe. Names, specialist terms, accents, and overlapping speech still need review against the original audio. No fixed accuracy percentage is promised here.
Do I need to convert my recording to MP3 before transcription?
Not for the local format check: M4A, WAV, and OGG are accepted alongside MP3. Keep a good-quality original instead of converting it repeatedly. Passing this check does not guarantee that every codec inside the file will be supported by the processing service.
Which transcript languages, exports, and processing limits are available?
Check the language choices, output options, account limits, and any quote in the Genooi workspace before starting. MoiMobi does not publish a separate language list or transcription entitlement, and it does not export an audio transcript before processing has taken place there.
